Mr Justin Negri

Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Mr Negri received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Monash University in 1990. He trained at The Alfred Hospital in all aspects of Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplantation, and was awarded his Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000.

At Cambridge University Papworth Hospital he enhanced his training in Transplant Surgery, and was given consultation status there, before returning to Australia.

He is currently appointed as a Cardiothoracic and Transplant Surgeon and Director of Mechanical Support Services at The Alfred Hospital, and is a Visiting Specialist at the Royal Children's Hospital. He has admitting rights at Cabrini, Epworth, Knox and Epworth Eastern Hospitals.
